Google has officially announced that it will now consider page speed as a possible ranking factor. Matt Cutts says it might not be significant enough a factor to drastically change the SERPs results, but its only one among the numerous search engine factors that might help in the bigger push of your site showing up high for the relevant results.
So now with many other factors you have to consider speed of your web pages. We also think speed is important as in todays busy world no one has time to wait for minutes for your webpage to load. But have one question in mind? If site A loads faster then site B does it means site A’s ranking should be higher no matter site B has more information and is more qualified to be on higher rank. Well what we understand is Google will just pay some % of over all factors to be considered for ranking. So dont worry if some data is taking more time to load but is must dont just go and remove it. Instead try soem other ways to optimize the same data in different format etc.
